Controller, scope and contact

The data controller is Eros Fava, an individual, at Via Fontana di Papa 33, Ariccia (RM), Italia. Mety° is the project name, not a separate controller. Privacy contact: contact@mety.app. No data protection officer (DPO) has been appointed.

This notice covers the Mety and ShiftMate presentation website. Processing in the Android app and account deletion requests are covered by the app policy and dedicated deletion page linked in the footer.

Browsing data

To deliver and protect pages, the hosting service may process IP addresses, timestamps, requested resources, browser information and technical logs. The purposes are operation, security and abuse prevention, based on the legitimate interest in running the website.

Messages you choose to send

The presentation website has no contact form. If you email contact@mety.app, your address, message and attachments are processed to respond. Service and pre-contractual enquiries rely on GDPR Article 6(1)(b); general correspondence on the legitimate interest in responding (Article 6(1)(f)); rights requests on legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).

Providing data is voluntary, but without necessary details we may be unable to respond. Do not send unnecessary health information, documents or third-party data.

Preferences and no profiling

The site stores only your chosen language and notice acknowledgement locally for up to 180 days. It contains no analytics or profiling tools, Meta Pixel, Google Analytics or embedded social content. It does not access shift data in the app.

Recipients, location and retention

Aruba hosts the website on hosting infrastructure in Italy. The controller and hosting and email providers process data needed for their services; authorities or advisers may receive it where necessary for legal obligations or the protection of rights. Data is not sold or publicly disclosed.

Local preferences expire after 180 days. Messages are retained to handle and close enquiries; subsequent retention is limited to data necessary for legal obligations or disputes and their applicable duration. Website log retention depends on the hosting service and does not necessarily match app OCR logs.

Italian hosting does not mean external linked services or email providers process data exclusively in the EEA. For details about recipients and any transfer safeguards, contact contact@mety.app.

Your rights

Under GDPR Articles 15–22, where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests: contact@mety.app. Requests normally receive a response within one month, subject to justified extensions allowed by the GDPR. You may complain to the Italian data protection authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or your competent supervisory authority. No solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made.
